Google India in co-operation with the citizen engagement platform of the government, MyGov, will be introduction a countrywide contest to develop a mobile app for the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
The mobile app will bring the PMO to altogether national public and the contest will demonstrate how Indians can construct a world class app, a statement published by Google India said New Delhi Monday.
Google is functioning with the Department of Information Technology and other state governments to develop these initiatives.
Prime Minister Modi's Digital India programme will play a transformational role in attaining this, and we are excited to be making a meaningful contribution by rolling out several initiatives in collaboration with the Government of India, Rajan Anandan, vice president and managing director, Google India said.
